Dr. Driss Kettani and Asmae El Mahdi were selected to publish their submission on “ Implementing E-Government Accessible to Illiterate Citizens” and to showcase eFez system during the DEMO session of The 3rd IEEE/ACM International Conference on Information and Communication Technologies and Development ( ICTD2009 ), held 17-19 April 2009 at Carnegie Mellon 's state-of-the-art campus in Doha, Qatar. Confirmed speakers include a Keynote by William H. Gates, Chairman of Microsoft Corporation and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. The selection process was highly competitive: more than 80% of submissions for proceedings were declined; and out of 41 DEMO proposals, only 16 were selected.
