Workplace Professionalism & Employment Seeking Skills Workshop
To support and empower Moroccan job seekers, LOCUS English in partnership with the U.S Mission in Morocco is offering a week-long workshop, from Nov 12 09:00 to 16 Nov 17:00 UTC, in Marrakech, designed to impart the skills and best practices required to secure meaningful employment not only within Morocco but also abroad. These workshops are focused on employment seeking skills, including but not limited to:
- How to prepare and submit your CV for the job market
- Where to look for a job opening
- How to prepare for and ace a job interview
- General aspects of professionalism required to obtain a job and
integrate into your new position
- The application for the workshops is open to master’s level
students and recent graduates, from any background, who show a keen interest in developing their personal and professional skills and are ready
To commit and fully engage in a week long workshop Criteria of application and selection:
Application requirements:
English Level : B2 – will be determined with an online placement test
5th year master’s or 1st year after graduation, any degree background
Selection Preferences:
- Previous experience participating in extra-curricular activities
Selected participants receive the following:
- Soft skills training regarding all aspects of finding and securing a
job from a highly qualified instructor
- Professional CV tailored for each participant
- Professional job interview simulation
- Certificate delivered at the end of training
- On-going support and communication in job search
