Objectifs : • To help students master the basic skills of reading comprehension ;
• To help the students overcome lexical, idiomatic and structural difficulties;
• To enhance the skills of reading and cultivate literary competence in students.
• To provide students with the opportunity to practice and improve their listening and communication skills in English.

• To know the rules of public speaking
• To introduce students to the basics of reading and writing about English literature.
• To introduce students to the basics in the theory and practice of Cultural Studies.
• To introduce the students to General Linguistics.
• To consolidate the student’s knowledge of the business world and the mechanisms which govern the world of business.
• To introduce students to translation theory and train them to translate from Arabic to English and vice versa
• To equip students with the learning strategies that will help them become effective independent learners.
